From Memorial Day to Labor Day, summer in Greater Lafayette, IN is in full swing. Playgrounds pack with kiddos getting out of the house for a bit, patios for dining open up for all to enjoy the cool summer nights, and festivals go “live” almost every weekend in one part of the state or another! Check out all of these summer festival adventures throughout Tippecanoe County and Greater Lafayette, as well as, the entire state of Indiana. 2021 Kokomo Strawberry Festival: 06/04/2021; Downtown Kokomo; “This annual festival brings vendors, live entertainment, family-friendly activities and delicious strawberry shortcake.”

Crawfordsville Strawberry Festival: 06/11/2021 – 06/13/2021; Lane Place Antebellum Mansion; “For three days, the grounds of the historic Lane Place is transformed into a strawberry themed festival featuring food, fun, arts & crafts and top notch entertainment for all ages.”

Wabash Riverfest: 07/10/2021; Tapawingo Park, John Myers Pedestrian Bridge and Riehle Plaza; Free, family-friendly celebration of the Wabash River. Canoe races, food, music, educational exhibits, 5K run, bike events, childrens’ activities and more!”

Mosey Down Main Street: 07/10/2021; Main Street in Downtown Lafayette; Mosey Down Main Street is a series of street celebrations brought to you by the local artistic community.  Volunteers, downtown business owners, artists and musicians come together once a month from May through September to offer a free family friendly event that takes place right down the center of Main Street.

Tippecanoe County 4-H Fair: 07/17/2021 – 07/24/2021; Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds; Great entertainment, quality music, buildings of crafts and fine handiworks, all phases of agriculture, a wide variety of youth activities, carnival rides, games and mouth watering fair food.

Wea Creek’s 3rd Annual Sunflower Festival: 07/23/2021; Wea Creek Orchard; Food, craft vendors, hay rides, kids games, and more! Movie Friday Night, 7-9pm.

TASTE of Tippecanoe: 07/31/2021; Downtown Lafayette; “Support the arts and enjoy live music, live art experiences, local cuisine, fireworks and more! Children 12 and under are free.”

Indiana Fiddler’s Gathering: 08/14/2021; Tippecanoe Battlefield Park; Three-day acoustic music festival featuring the best in traditional music styles such as bluegrass, old time and string band.”

OUTfest: 08/21/2021; Downtown Lafayette; Enjoy live entertainment, great food and beverages, drag show, vendors and family activities.

Beers Across the Wabash: 08/28/2021; John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge; Friends of Downtown is proud to present the 9th Annual Beers Across the Wabash. Join us for a fantastic afternoon of sampling craft brews from a host of Indiana’s finest small breweries.

St. Boniface Germanfest: 09/11/2021; Downtown Lafayette; Family-friendly festival with authentic German food, five bands, three beer gardens, $10,000 raffle. Free parking, shuttle bus from St. Elizabeth Central. Carnival and midway for kids of all ages. VIP area for the festival-goer that enjoys Hoosier hospitality.”
